Aaron Sorrels, The Unemployed Alcoholic here.
Whatttt?????
Yup, I'm known as The Unemployed Alcoholic because my latest calling has led me to help people laugh while sharing my story of recovery and faith.
I'm a comedian, podcaster, public speaker, show producer, personal recovery coach and a recovering alcoholic coming up on 5 years sobriety. And while some would argue that I'm no longer "unemployed" or an "alcoholic," I retain this imagery to hold on to the humility and brokenness I've experienced that has ultimately led to some incredible revelation and growth.

What’s up with that logo?
It’s a smiley face wearing a blindfold that reads, “The Unemployed Alcoholic.”
This reminds me to keep smiling, even when my circumstances try to blind me from the joy and laughter that is all around.
Contentment and prosperity
What’s faith got to do with it?
My worldview is built on my relationship with Jesus and my understanding of the Bible.
I’m unapologetic about my faith, but I also appreciate and respect those with different beliefs.
I'm far from perfect, but I do my best to love God and those around me.
