2020 will be better, but 2019 was pretty dang good.

In 2019 I celebrated 3 years sobriety. In 2020 I hope to celebrate 4 years and I am launching a new recovery community in downtown Grand Rapids. If your passionate about, curious about or in need of recovery, come to Monroe Community Church on Tuesday, January 7, 6:00 pm.

In 2019 I shared over 150 times. I shared laughs & my story through stand up comedy, speaking engagements, radio interviews and podcast appearances. In 2020 I hope to share at least 200 times. Do you know of any opportunities for me to share?

In 2019 I shared over 75 encouraging 30 second video clips. In 2020 I hope to share 1 a day for all 366 days (it’s a leap year). Can I send you a little encouragement?

In 2019 Brian Atkinson and I started Clean Comedy Time and did 3 showcases at Dr Grins in the BOB (Grand Rapids). In 2020 we are continuing with Dr Grins, adding new Clean Comedy Time Showcase locations and hosting personalized Clean Comedy Time events. Can we bring a show to you?

In 2019 my wonderful wife, Renee, and I celebrated 25 years of marriage. In 2020 we’re hoping to celebrate 26 as our relationship grows stronger and deeper.

In 2019 all 3 of our kids finished college. In 2020 Renee and I hope to continue our loving relationships with them as they live their independent, adult lives.

In 2019 my faith in Jesus Christ grew. In 2020 I hope to represent my Lord in an unapologetic yet non-judgmental way — I hope to Love my God with all my heart and love my neighbors as myself.

Things are going well, and they are getting better.
